Following the recent announcement by AIB (Allied Irish Banks) to wind down its operations in the Isle of Man and Channel Islands, Permanent Bank International is keen to emphasise its total commitment to its customers who choose to bank on the Isle of Man.

We have recently rebranded and enjoy the continuing support and co-operation of our shareholder, Irish Life and Permanent Group, in whom the Irish state have a significant shareholding.

Our move to new premises last year and our name change from Irish Nationwide in February this year demonstrates that we see our future as part of the international business community based upon the Isle of Man. We are beginning to receive enquiries from clients of AIB which, of course, we welcome. We have a wide range of deposit terms to offer them, from call to 5 years, all with competitive interest rates.

Our local market in the Isle of Man and the international market are of great importance to us and evidenced by the fact that we have clients in over 60 countries. We welcome enquiries locally, from the Channel Islands and from around the world .
